Montage is brought to you by Robert Duffin and Emma Lennox. Both have studied film for so long it is medically impossible for them to stop talking about cinema. Montage began as a simple blog created during year one of the film journalism masters degree at the University of Glasgow in 2007. Since then it has developed and shed several skins to become this streamlined, fit in your pocket podcast displayed here. Invariably the tone is mocking, humorous, potentially libellous but always based on misplaced affection for all things cinema, and several academic texts.
About Robert:
Robert is currently studying a Phd on retrospectives at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. He occasionally writes programme notes for the Glasgow Film Theatre and has made guest appearances on BBC Scotland’s ‘Movie Cafe’ with Janet Forsyth.
About Emma:
Emma is a freelance writer and has been published in several magazines covering film, comedy and literature. As a Skinny Magazine section editor for 2 years, she coordinated live comedy coverage across Scotland. Emma writes programme notes for the Glasgow Film Theatre and scripts comedy sketches for BBC Scotland.
